I began playing guitar at the ripe age of 7 and have had several instructors and several influences. At the age of 18 I began my most structured musical training as a Classical Performance Major at Washburn University in Topeka Kansas. A few months later I was accepted to Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles. Life however got in the way and I was never fortunate enough to attend.
I have had the privelige of playing with several wonderful musicians over the years in one form or another (bands, recording, workshops, etc.) which has opened my eyes to several influencial sounds.
My debut CD is several years in the making but most all of my influences can be heard, hence the title Heterogeneous.
